The Pianos N' Strings music teaching studio was founded in 2005 at the present location in Dublin, California. Previously, instructors had been offering piano and guitar lessons in clients homes for many years. Our success at this work led to an over abundance of students that made scheduling difficult. To increase our efficiency and quality of teaching, the owner decided to keep the home teaching but also teach in a studio environment.

Our instructors provide a systematic and comprehensive lesson plan that focuses on developing performance skills, technique, ear-training, sight reading skills, and an understanding of music theory. An excellent rewards program encourages students to practice regularly and progress to higher levels of achievement. Based on the performance in a lesson, and the practice sessions at  home, students are rewarded appropriately.

Parent/family involvement is encouraged in the learning process of students. Instructors and family members monitor the progress of their child and keep a log of the daily practice sessions. Our current and former students have benefitted tremendously from this approach.

Finally, our studio provides opportunities for advance students to prepare for certification programs offered by vaious recognized institutions.
