Pianos N' Strings

Welcome To Pianos N' Strings music teaching studio. The Pianos N' Strings music teaching studio is dedicated to providing quality music instruction in piano/keyboard, guitar, drums, and vocals. The lessons consist of private, semi-private (2 students), and small groups (e.g. 3 students). We also offer recitals, workshops, and music clubs to enhance musical skills and give our students the opportunity to perform. Our mission is to build a progression method approach to playing instruments. We are able to teach students in our studio or we can arrange lessons in the comfort of your home. About Kenneth Lavoie
Drummer/Percussionist 

Kenneth is an active freelance percussionist, and has worked with many diverse groups throughout the Bay Area. Kenneth received his Bachelor's Degreen Music from California State University, East Bay, and graduated with honors. Kenneth is the current principal percussionist of the Silicon Valley Symphony, and has played percussion and drum set with groups such as Schola Cantorum, Broadway by the Bay, Starstruck Theater, Stanford New Music Ensemble, Master Sinfonial Orchestra, California Pops, and many others. He has been a featured soloist in the CSU East Bay Symphonic Band, and has recorded an album for the 50th Anniversary of the University, playing timpani with the University Symphonic Band, and drum set with the University's top Jazz Ensemble. Kenneth has been playing drums for 10 years, and is also one of two percussion coaches for the Mt. Eden High School percussion section.
